Educational objectives

  • Learn about the latest tools and techniques to minimize radial artery trauma and preserve radial access for future interventions
  • Review when and how to go stent-free in different settings such as diffuse disease and bifurcations, using a hybrid approach. This includes how to best prepare the lesion, which dissections to leave unstented and what is the recommended duration of dual antiplatelet therapy depending on the patient bleeding risk.

Target Participants

Interventional Cardiologists interested in learning how to optimize outcomes for the patient while minimizing the impact of PCI by leveraging the latest techniques for access, closure and treatment considering the use of ultra-low profile access devices and drug eluting balloon technologies with sustained limus release
