Introduction


Le dysfonctionnement microvasculaire coronaire peut causer des douleurs thoraciques à votre patient.

Un diagnostic de CMD peut aider à optimiser le traitement, à améliorer la qualité de vie et à rendre aux patients leur tranquillité d’esprit. Chez 40 à 60% des patients du laboratoire de cathérisation, aucune maladie coronarienne obstructive importante n’est trouvée sur l’angiographie malgré les symptômes de l’angine de poitrine.
En outre, 20 à 40 % des patients ayant subi une PCI présentent une angine persistante 1 an après la procédure.

Ces patients se retrouvent souvent avec des réhospitalisations fréquentes, avec peu de progrès réalisés dans l’explication de la cause de leurs symptômes.
