  • Patient: Male 63 years old
  • Angina CCS II and dyspnea NYHA II
  • Treadmill test with angina but normal ECG
  • Peripheral arterial disease Fontaine IIb
  • CVRF: former smoker (80py), hypertension, dyslipidemia, IDDM
  • Echo: LVEF 69%, inferobasal hypokinesia, no valvular disease
  • Renal function: eGFR =>90 ml/min/1.73m2
  • CAG 25.8.17: severe LAD stenosis, CX without relevant stenosis; short, but calcified CTO of tortuous RCA
  • 25.8.17 PCI of LAD with DES
  • CAG 25.8.17: severe LAD stenosis, CX without relevant stenosis; short, but calcified CTO of tortuous RCA
  • C-CTO score 2
Live Case n°2: CTO of dominant CX
  • Patient: Male 63 years old
  • History of silent inferior myocardial infarction
  • No angina, dyspnea NYHA II
  • Treadmill test: no angina but limiting dyspnea, ST segment normal
  • CVRF: former smoker, arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia
  • Echo: reduced LVEF (50%), inferior hypokinesia, no valvular disease
  • Admitted for CAG on 14.8.17: RIVA and RCA without relevant stenosis, Chronic occlusion of the dominant mid CX
  • CTO of dominant CX
  • J-CTO score: 2
